Rimon Selects Student Team Winner to Open for Don McLean at his Upcoming Performance in IsraelRim

Don McLean, of “American Pie” fame, invited students to compete for a chance to open for him at his upcoming concert in Israel this June

The votes are in!  After careful selection from all of the extraordinary entries by Rimon’s talented students,  Don McLean’s production team is pleased to announce that the ensemble selected to open for Mr. McLean is the band comprised of Roy Unger – Vocals, Ofek Naveh – Guitar and Vocals, Uri Barko – Banjo and Vocals, who performed Castles In The Air

The decision was made by audience vote and a committee of Rimon faculty, Ohad Shragai and Oded Davidov, and Don McLean’s production team; Ziv Rubenstein, Avi Ben Shitrit, and Ilan Elkayam
