During February 2015, international recording artist and world-renowned musical producer Alan Parsons visited the Rimon School for a lecture and master class. Parsons met with students and discussed his diverse musical career and the variety of sound-engineering and production projects he has been involved in during his long international career.
Students from the Rimon Jazz Institute and the school’s Electronic Production major arranged music from Parson’s repertoire and presented it live on stage.
The event also included a performance by former Rimon student and international recording artist Achinoam Nini (NOA), accompanied by Gil Dor, one of Rimon’s founders.
Parsons was highly impressed by the level of musicianship and creativity at Rimon and by the depth and scope of the music production and technology curriculum.
