With great excitement, Rimon’s 40th Anniversary was honored in a special convocation and reception hosted by President and First Lady Herzog. Also in attendance were Rimon Founders, the management team, faculty, and some of the partners in Rimon’s journey. Attendees enjoyed performances by Rimon Founder/President Yehuda Eder with his son Alon Eder and guest saxophonist (and Academic Director) Mitchell Rosen and students, plus a student vocal ensemble from the Rimon North campus in Akko. Also in attendance were Kobi and Idit Ohel, whose son Alon was scheduled to begin study at Rimon but was kidnapped on October 7 and remains in captivity in Gaza. We all hope to see him very soon on campus!
